There must be a few inches of water in the water butt (above tap level) in order for the tap to work
If using with a downpipe rain trap, the size of the pre-drilled hole at the back of the water butt may need to be adjusted. Please check the measurements of the pipe used. Diameter of the existing hole is 2cm.
Collect rainwater by either removing the lid with mesh leaf collector or attach a connector pipe to the back of the water butt.
